• Question: What is a FRS?

      It stands for “Fellow of the Royal Society”. This is almost the greatest scientific honour you can get. Only a Nobel Prize beats it in my opinion. You have to be proposed and all the fellows have to vote for you – if any single person votes against, you don’t gt the award. You are only allowed three attempts (the pprocess only happens once every year) and then have to wait 10 years before being able to try again.

      I don’t have an FRS……………….
