Yes, definately…..I’d like to see a world with no fossil fueled cars. Not only would this help global warming and climate change, but it would improve air quality in cities. There is a major problem with electric cars at the moment though – if we all changed to electric cars tonight (just say) and we plugged them into our garages to charge overnight, there would not be enough electricity generating power in the national grid to support this – so challenge number 1 is to increase electricity supply to allow electric cars. Another major problem is that our electricity generating system at the moment is quite dirty – it generates lots of carbon – so challenge number 2 is to clean up our electricity generating system to have more renewable and less fossil fuel based energy sources. I do believe we will overcome all of these challenges, but it won’t happen tonight (sorry) – it will take a bit longer and lots of invested money…..
Yes, I see what you mean, it’s quite confusing. Also there isn’t enough elecricity charging points because if you’re on a long journey you might run out of electricity and you’d just come to a halt. I’m sorry to here you’ve been evicted, I wanted you to win! 🙁
