• Question: do you think there are any more un discovered life earth

      I would love to believe so since from now and then we always hear about new species or undersea creatures and that makes it even more interesting to know that we still do not know everything 🙂

      I agree with Akram – I’d like to think so!! I think we are actually quite ignorant if we think we know everything – does that not mean that really we know very little???Hmmmm!! My Grade 1 son thinks he knows everything 🙂

      I think that it’s very likely that there is some kind of life somewhere… but it might just be bacteria! A planet has to stay quiet for a really long time before intelligent life can evolve. But it’s possible! 🙂

      The problem is, they might be so far away that messages or signals would take many many years to travel to earth, even though they’d be going at the speed of light.

      So we could just be waiting for them to call 🙂

      We are always discovering new life – even new mammals but the main area where new species are discovered all teh time is in the insect world. My close friend is George McGavin – the mad entomologist in the TV programmes such as “Lost Land of the Jaguar. Look him up at:

      He is always discovering new species of insects and every time you discover a new insect you can choose to have your name as part of its Latin name so there are several dung beetles that finish in “McGavinensis”. He has promised me that he will name one “Harwoodensis” so watch out!!
