• Question: Has teleportation ever been achieved, and how does it work? Is it possible that it will be used in the future as a new method of transportation?

      It has been achieved only with single particles .. and only in the sense that the entire information about the particle is teleported for 1 particle to another… to make that happen with anything bigger would we extremely difficult (and potentially dangerous!).. But not necessarily impossible

      Well … as Jack said it was done with simple information being transported from one particle to another but not physically the whole particle … so from this, the question is? Will information transfer be enough and is creating another object that has all the details of the original one called teleporting?! I believe it would be if the replica is exactly a copy of the original and lacks nothing in details or complex structure so I can see it a possibility in the near future!!

      I think this will only be possible on Startrek – at least for a long long time to come.
