  This is a really wide question – the environment is Sooooooooooo massive – includes the land, air, sea, animals, humans, plants …… some of the smallest of all living things (like plankton in the sea and tiny algae plants) tell us how well the environment is coping – they act like a barometer for the world’s health because they are really low down on the food chain.
