Lots of things need to change, and lots of things are out of our control, but the big changes like another ice-age take so long to happen that it is beyond our lifetime and our children’s lifetimes…… this doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t care or be responsible, but we can only act on the information we have and the things we know to be true and certain……I think this is a good thing … 🙂

There are loads of things that will change. I think in 50 years, the main differences will be – we’ll be using electric cars which will be quiet and smog free, there will be loads of robots helping us do tasks around the house and at work, everything will be computer controlled and we’ll all be living longer (and hopefully healthier!) lives. There are some things that I hope we manage to keep the same .. like the countryside – it’s important that we preserve that. Also I think it’s important we value face to face interaction and don’t do all our talking with computers. Although talking to people like you on the computer is fun, i think its better to do some things in person 🙂

It definitely will since what we created for today’s world depends heavily on yesterday’s science and theories (sounds like a TV programme!!) … However, as scientists and communities we are braver more daring and we would like to prove the impossible so in the future there will loads of changes and I am sure the future generations will look back at us and say … hmmm we are so advanced but still they will use our theories and experimental results … Well I would hope so 🙂

The future will be based on what we know today and people will be aware of what we are today through their history books but, as technology advances ever faster, the people in 50 years’ time will look upon us as we look upon ancient Britons, I am sure.

Just like transporting an Anglo-Saxon into today’s society, we wold be totally amazed and lost if we were suddenly transported 50 years ahead, I am sure.
