• Question: is the internet dngerous, having all of the waves going through us, and could our brains intercat with it without a computer, because we only use 0.1% of its power?

In a physical sense the internet is only “dangerous” if we are using our mobile phones to access it ….if we found a way of acessing it direct from our brains in the future (through our “energy”) then I guess there is potential danger from waves……???

More denagerous than all of this right now is the danger from all the rubbish that is on the internet – not everything you read is true, helpful, correct or appropriate – you need to filter out the rubbish. There is also a large number of very useful and fantastic sites – what a resource to have at your finger tips 🙂

I don’t really believe so and the power that is emitted from mobile phones and wireless devices (I guess that is what you mainly meant rather than wired internet) is still very law and until now no one can definitely say it caused any dangerous consequences!!

However, we always need to use technology in moderation since electronic components produce heat radiation and too much heat is not good for our brain and body so talk on your mobile moderately 😉

I agree with what Gill and Akram have said, at the moment we receive only very small amounts of power from wireless and mobile phones. But I think it’s important to keep monitoring the effects of radiating devices as we uses more and more of them – houses in the future are likely to have all kinds of wireless devices and it’s always important to check whether there are any health effects with new technology

Technology is just another (advanced tool) and needs to be kept in proportion. The internet enables us to find things out very quickly but we still need to assess whether or not this is useful, correct or even harmful. So you should be careful with the internet as you would if you were chopping wood with an axe. Used properly it speeds things up. Used without consideration and things can go equally quickly wrong. When will we be able to access the internet directly without a computer. I predict no more than 20 years.
