I don’t but if we are not careful with our wastage of energy and other materials we could harm the environment badly affecting the balance of our planet!!

I don’t think this is true.. it’s actually getting hotter, but that is due to man-made climate change

Ice ages are cyclical with the big ones coming roughly every 100 thousand years with lesser ones roughly every 41 thousand and 23 thousand years like ripples on the main cycle. We know this by studying ancient rocks and looking at how they have been polished (by being ground by ice). It is about 14 thousand years from the last ice age so we are currently in the middle of one of the ripples although I don’t know which one. Anyway, it wont bother us.

However, against all this and the worries about global warming have a look at this link from today’s Mail online

      http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2093264/Forget-global-warming–Cycle-25-need-worry-NASA-scientists-right-Thames-freezing-again.html

Figures apparently show tat the general increase in global temperature stopped in 1997 and that we may be heading for a mini ice age like in the 17th Century when the Thames regularly froze solid every winter. Well this is all news to me!!!!!

No – don’t think this is true. There is evidence to show that in prehistoric times the world was 2-3°C warmer, but that does not mean we are in an ince-age now. The world is warming due to man-made climate change and that’s what we are tring to slow and redress. 🙂
