• Question: What happens when an immovable object meets an unstoppable force?

      This is one of those philosophical scenarios. The fact is, you can’t have an unstoppable force or an immoveable object.

      Here’s one to think about. When a fly hits a car windscreen it changes direction and so at some point must have stopped. As it is in contact with the car, the car too must have stopped. So a fly can stop a car!!!!!

      What you’re really asking is… does infinity = infinity?

      That’s more of a question for people who study maths for a living! Do you fancy doing that? :p

      Ha ha Laurence – what’s the last thing to go through a fly’s mind when it hits the car windscreen? 😉
      I’m not sure I know the answer to this one, but I can accept that there is no such thing as an unstoppable force, or an immovable object.

      I love the way you think … Immovable and Unstoppable so negating an adjective twice hmmmm … I would like to think there is no impossible but I love Laurence’s example 🙂 Mathematically it might be shown to be true but I am not an expert to answer that so I will start google-ing away now 😉
