Knowing when to finish a piece of work and write it up. There’s always more detail you can go into, but at some point you have to decide that a piece of work is ‘finished’… That can be hard! 🙂

The people who play political games in science. There are some people who, even though they aren’t very good, always seem to know the right people and get on the right committees and get their chums to support them. Science shoudl be about doing things to the best of your ability – not doing other people down.

For me – its time!! There are so many interesting things to get involved in and to find out about, but you can’t do them all. Glad I did I’m a Scientist though 😀

After completing a report or a paper on a piece of work and after submission realising I should have added my name … Dohh 😉 But usually I can correct that in good times!
